Maths support for non-specialist students in science and engineering departments Monday 25 November 2002
University of Wales Swansea

How To Register  | Registration Form  |  Programme  |   Location

This is a joint event, organised with LTSN Engineering, which will provide materials of immediate use to those who are teaching and supporting students in engineering and science. Participants will be given copies of useful publications such as a Facts and Formulae leaflet, Algebra and Calculus Refresher Booklets and a handbook on Good Practice in the Provision of Mathematics Support Centres.

The event gives the opportunity for you to raise your awareness of the challenges faced, share ideas on how to support your students and contribute to the discussion on the future of maths teaching and support. There will also be the chance to network with other academics with an interest in this area.

How to Register

As this is a joint event with LTSN Engineering, there is no charge. However it is necessary to register in advance using their online booking form. Please book by Friday 15th November.
